He told him that a bullet leaves the rifle at the speed of two-thousand and forty feet per sound. The Sergeant knew that leaves at the speed of over 2000 feet per second. He did not take it kindly. In the hope taking revenge, he turned with volley of questions to the professor.

He was the hero of soldiers. For them he was very tough. They often thought they could hammer nails into him without noticing them. He was unable to forget humiliation.
