= 4 × 500 ml. + (500 ml. + 250 ml.)

(2) 3 litre 800 ml.

= 3000 ml. + 800 ml.

= 3000 ml, + 500 ml. + 300 ml.

= 7 × 500 ml. + 200 ml + 100 ml.
