Question 1.
See the calendar of this year and draw a bar chart for coming holidays between July and December.
Answer the following questions-
(i) Which month has maximum number of holidays ?
(ii) Which month has minimum number of holidays ?
(iii) Which month has more holidays August or December ?
Solution:
In the calendar of this year, holidays between July to December as follows-
(i) October month has maximum number of holidays.
(ii) July and November month(RBSESolutions.com)has minimum number of holidays.
(iii) August and December both months has equal number of holidays.
Question 2.
The number of Poppadam (Papad) made within a week by women self help centre is shown below as a pictograph.

Observe the above table and answer the following questions-
(i) On which day production of Poppadam was maximum and how much ?
(ii) Which day has more production of Poppadam Monday or Friday ? And how much more ?
Solution:
(i) The production of Poppadam was maximum on Sunday.
Total Poppadam =10+10+10+10 +.10 + 10 + 10 + 10 + 3 = 83
(ii) From Monday or Friday, the(RBSESolutions.com)production of Poppadam on Friday was more.
Production on Monday = 10 + 10 + 10+10 + 10 + 2 = 52
Production on Friday = 10+10+10+10 + 10 + 3 = 53
Therefore, 53 – 52 =1 Poppadam was more produce in Friday.

If = 5 children and tally mark | = 1 child then construct a table, that shows attendance of your class for a week and answer the following questions.
(i) On which day maximum number of students were present ?
(ii) What is,the sum of total presence of students for the week ?

Solution.
Following table is formed by assuming 40 students in a class-
(i) Maximum number of students were present on monday.
(ii) Sum of total presence(RBSESolutions.com)of students for the week = 38 + 36 + 29 + 30 + 35 + 33 = 201
(iii) Minimum number of students were present on Wednesday.
