Word – meanings and Hindi Translation

I might have lived in a shell,
If I had been a snail.
or in a great wide tossing sea,
If I had been a whale.

Word – meanings :
shell (शैल) = कवच, बाहरी आवरण। snail (स्नेल) = घोंघा। wide (वाइड) = विस्तृत। tossing (टॉसिंग) = उछलते हुए, उफनते हुए। sea (सी) = समुद्र। whale (व्हेल) = एक समुद्री मछली।
भावार्थ :
यदि मैं एक घोंघा होता, तो मैं अपने कवच में रहता। या फिर यदि मैं एक व्हेल मछली होता, तो अत्यधिक विस्तृत उफनते हुए समुद्र में रहता।

Or in busy noisy hive
If I’d been born a bee.
Or a bunny in a burrow,
Eating lettuce for my tea.

Word – meanings :
noisy (नॉइज़ि) = शोरगुल से भरा, भिनभिनाहट से भरा। hive (हाइव) = छत्ता। born (बॉन) = पैदा होता।bee (बी) = मधुमक्खी। bunny (बनि) = खरगोश। burrow (बरो) = बिल, सुरंग। eating (ईटिंग) = खाना। lettuce (लेटिस्) = सलाद पत्ता। tea (टी) = नाश्ता।
भावार्थ :
या फिर यदि मैं एक मधुमक्खी के रूप में पैदा होता, तो एक शोरगुल (भिनभिनाहट) से भरे व्यस्त छत्ते में रहता। या फिर मैं एक खरगोश होता, तो किसी बिल या सुरंग में रहता और अपने नाश्ते में सलाद पत्ता खा रहा होता।

Word – meanings :
kennel (केनेल) = कुत्तों का घर। home (होम) = घर। mud (मड) = कीचड़। hole (होल) = बिल। river bank (रिवर बैंक) = नदी के किनारे। frog (फ्रॉग) = मेंढक।
भावार्थ :
यदि मैं एक कुत्ता होता, तो मेरे पास एक कुत्ताघर होता (मैं केनेल में रहता)। या फिर यदि मैं एक मेंढक होता, तो किसी नदी के किनारे, कीचड़ में बिल बनाकर रहता।

I might have been a little bird,
And lived in a nest.
But Oh! I am glad I am just a child,
I think my home is the best.

Word – meanings :
little (लिट्ल्) = छेटी। bird (बर्ड) = चिड़िया। might lived (माइट लिव्ड) = रहता। nest (नेस्ट) = घोंसला। glad (ग्लैड) = प्रसन्न। just (जस्ट) = मात्र। think (थिंक) = सोचना / समझना। best (बेस्ट) = सबसे अच्छ।
भावार्थ :
(यदि) मैं एक छेटी-सी चिड़िया होता तो एक घोंसले में रहता। लेकिन ओह ! मैं प्रसन्न हूँ कि मैं एक बच्चा मात्र ही हूँ। मैं समझता हूँ कि मेरा घर सबसे अच्छा है।
