Rajasthan Board RBSE Class 6 English Grammar Relative Pronoun

Pronoun is word which used in place of a Noun.
Maya said to me that Maya was going to Maya’s school.
उपर्युक्त वाक्य में Maya शब्द के बार-बार होने वाले प्रयोग से बचने के लिए यदि हम उपयुक्त Pronouns का प्रयोग करें तो भाषा व्यावहारिक तथा सुन्दर बन जायेगी। जैसे-
Maya said to me that she was going to her school.
इस वाक्य में she तथा her pronoun है जो Maya के लिए प्रयुक्त हुए हैं।

Relative Pronouns

1. This is the camera which I have recently
2. You can buy the books that you need.
3. The boy whom you helped is very poor.
4. The man uuho stole your purse has been arrested.
5. This is the boy whose purse you stole.

उपर्युक्त उदाहरणों में ‘which’, ‘that’, ‘whom’, ‘who’ तथा ‘whose’ Relative Pronouns’ हैं और ये दो वाक्यों को जोड़ने का काम कर रहे हैं तथा क्रमशः अपने Antecedents camera, books, boy, man तथा boy से सम्बन्ध जोड़ने का कार्य कर रहे हैं ।

The chair that is here is comfortable. लिखना सही है ।।
