## Rajasthan Board RBSE Class 6 Maths Chapter 7 Vedic Mathematics Ex 7.6

Question 1.

Find out the difference (RBSESolutions.com) using vinkulum.

Solution.

**Hints :
**

(a) Changing the sign of – 49 into +, write 4 and 9 with (RBSESolutions.com) their vinkulum lines.

(b) Write 6 + \(\overline { 9 } \) = \(\overline { 3 } \) in the units place.

\(=\underset { . }{ 5 } 7\)

= 47 (c) Write 9 + \(\overline { 4 } \) = 5 in the tens place.

(d) Convert 5\(\overline { 3 } \) into general number.

(e) Parammitra of \(\overline { 3 } \) i.e., 1.

(f) Put one less sign on the poorven digit of \(\overline { 3 } \) i.e., 5.

(g) Write \(\underset { . }{ 5 } =4\)

(h) Thus, 96 – 49 = 47

**Hints :
**

(a) Changing the sign of – 245 into +, write 2, 4 and 5 with (RBSESolutions.com) their vinkulum lines.

\(-\underset { . }{ 7 } 9\overline { 3 } \) (b) Write 2 + \(\overline { 5 } \) = \(\overline { 3 } \) in the units place.

= 69\(\overline { 3 } \) (c) Write 3 + \(\overline { 4 } \) = \(\overline { 1 } \) in the tens place.

\(=6\underset { . }{ 9 } 7\) (d) Write 9 + \(\overline { 2 } \) = 7 in the hundreds place.

(e) Convert 7\(\overline { 13 } \) into general number.

(f) Parammitra digit of 1 (tens digit) i.e., 9.

(g) Put one less sign on the poorven digit of \(\overline { 1 } \) i.e., 7.

(h) Write \(\underset { . }{ 7 } =6\)

(i) Parammitra digit of \(\overline { 3 } \) (units digit) i.e., 7.

(j) Put one less sign on the poorven digit of \(\overline { 3 } \) i.e., 9.

(k) Write \(\underset { . }{ 9 } =8\)

(l) Thus, 932 – 245 = 687

**Hints :
**

(a) Changing the (RBSESolutions.com) sign of – 788 into +, write 7, 8 and 8 with their vinkulum lines.

\(\underset { . }{ 2 } 7\overline { 6 } \) (b) Write 2 + \(\overline { 8 } \) = \(\overline { 6 } \) in the units place.

\(=17\overline { 6 } \) (c) Write 5 + \(\overline { 8 } \) = \(\overline { 3 } \) in the tens place.

\(=1\underset { . }{ 7 } 4\) (d) Write 9 + \(\overline { 7 } \) = 2 in the hundreds place.

(e) Convert 2\(\overline { 36 } \) into general number.

(f) Parammitra digit of \(\overline { 3 } \) (tens place) i.e., 7.

(g) Put one less sign on the poorven digit of \(\overline { 3 } \) i.e., 2.

(h) Write 2 = 1.

(i) Parammitra digit of \(\overline { 6 } \) (units place) i.e., 4.

(j) Put one less sign on (RBSESolutions.com) the poorven digit of \(\overline { 6 } \) ie., 7.

(k) Write \(\underset { . }{ 7 } =6\)

(l) Thus, 952 – 788 = 164

**Hints :
**

(a) Changing the sign of -547 into + write 5, 4 and 7 with their vinkulum lines.

\(=\underset { . }{ 3 } 9\overline { 3 } \) (b) Write 4 + \(\overline { 7 } \) = \(\overline { 3 } \) in the units place.

\(=29\overline { 3 } \) (c) Write 3 + \(\overline { 4 } \) = \(\overline { 1 } \) in the tens place.

\(=2\underset { . }{ 9 } 7\) (d) Write 8 + \(\overline { 5 } \) = 3 in the hundreds place.

= 287 (e) Convert 3\(\overline { 13 } \) into general number.

(f) Parammitra digit of \(\overline { 1 } \) (tens digit) i.e., 9.

(g) Put one less sign on the poorven (RBSESolutions.com) digit of \(\overline { 1 } \) i.e., 3.

(h) Write \(\underset { . }{ 3 } =2\)

(i) Parammitra digit of \(\overline { 3 } \) (units digit) i.e., 7.

(j) Put one less sign on the poorven digit of \(\overline { 3 } \) i.e., 9.

(k) Write \(\underset { . }{ 9 } =8\)

(l) Thus, 834 – 547 = 287
