Solution:
Total milk = 15 L
(i) Quantity of milk given to Kanchan house
= 15 x \(\frac { 2 }{ 5 }\) = \(\frac { 15\times 2 }{ 5 }\) = 3 x 2 = 6 L
(ii) Quantity of milk given to Bhavna’s house
= 15 x \(\frac { 1 }{ 5 }\) = 3 x 1 = 3L
(iii) Quantity of miLk sold on hotel
= 15 – (6 + 3) = (15 -9 ) = 6L.
