कठिन शब्दार्थ एवं हिन्दी अनुवाद

When I was seven, we went to Jaisalmer,
The sand was golden, I saw everywhere.
I thought there were camels, behind every hill,
As I never saw them, their shadows were still. (Page 49)
कठिन शब्दार्थ – When (वेन्) = जब, जिस समय went (वेन्ट्) = गया। sand (सैन्ड्) = बालू, रेत। golden (गोल्डन्) = सुनहरे रंग का। saw (सॉ) = देखा। everywhere (एवरिवेअ (र्)) = सब जगह। thought (थॉट्) = सोचा। camels (कैम्ल्ज्) = ऊँट। behind (बिहाइन्ड्) के पीछे। every (वर) = प्रत्येक। hill (हिल) = पहाड़ी। never (नेव (र्)) = कभी नहीं। shadows (शैडोज़) = परछाईयाँ। still (स्टिल्) = स्थिर।
