Length of the door = 2 m

∴ Length of the window = 200 – 50
= 150 cm

Height of the stairs = 1 m = 100 cm
Remaining height after climbing half
= 100 – 50 = 50 cm

Now tell, my working hours in a week?

Total time from 9 am to 6 pm
= 9 hours
Rest for hour = 1 hour
Total working hours = 9 – 1 = 8 hours
Total working in a week
= 8 × 6 = 48 hours
4. A wall standing straight,
Its height four meters.
Up to 300 cm painted pink,
The remaining is painted red.
Quickly tell how much is painted red?
Solution :
Height of the wall = 4 m = 400 cm
Pink painted upto = 300 cm
∴ Remaining painted red = 400 – 300
= 100 cm

Ritu bought 11 mts of cotton cloth, 16 meters of linen cloth and 18 m of terrycot cloth. How many meters of cloth did she buy in total?
Solution :
Cotton cloth = 11 meter
Linen cloth = 16 meter
Terrycot cloth = 18 meter
Total cloth = 11 + 16 + 18
= 45 meter
Question 2.
Yogendra bought 2 mts of cloth and asked a tailor to make a pant-shirt. But the tailor measured and told him that 4 mts of cloth is needed to make the pant shirt. So how many more meters of cloth will Yogendra have to buy?
Solution :
Cloth needed to make a pant-shirt
= 4 meter
Yogendra bought = 2 meter
∴ Yogendra will have to buy
= 4 meter – 2 meter
= 2 meter
