Solution :
Bananas in 1 dozen = 12
∴ Bananas in 3 dozen = 3 × 12 = 36
(iii) One car has 4 wheels, then how many wheels will be there in 5 cars?
Solution :
Wheels in one car = 4
∴ Wheels in 5 cars = 5 times 4
= 5 × 4 = 20
(iv) One square has 4 corners, then how many corners will be there in 9 squares?
Solution :
1 square has corners = 4
∴ 9 squares have corners = 9 times 4
= 9 × 4 = 36
