A long time ago in Rajasthan, there was a brave man named Durgadas Rathore. He was known for his courage, loyalty and love for his motherland, Marwar (now Jodhpur).
When the king of Marwar, Maharaja Jaswant Singh, passed away, his son Ajit Singh was just a baby. However, the Mughal emperor Aurangzeb wanted to take over Marwar. He planned to capture the baby and rule the kingdom himself.

Passage: 2
Durgadas made a smart plan to save the baby. He gathered a few loyal men and decided to protect Ajit Singh at any cost. One night, they tricked the Mughal guards and escaped from Delhi with the baby. Disguised as ordinary travellers, Durgadas and his men escaped with the prince. The journey was dangerous, and they had to cross rivers, forests and deserts. The Mughal soldiers chased them, but Durgadas fought bravely.

He kept the prince safe and raised him to become the rightful king of Marwar. After many years, Ajit Singh finally became the ruler of Marwar. The people celebrated his return, and Durgadas became a hero. Even the Mughals respected him for his bravery and loyalty. When things got tough, Durgadas never gave up because he loved his land and people deeply. His love for Marwar was so strong that he spent his whole life protecting it.
