“One day, I saw a small seed that fell on the ground. Slowly, it. ______ “(You write the story further from your imagination.) Answer : One day, I saw a small seed that fell on the ground. Slowly it got buried in the ground. After a few days, a small white hair like structure came out of the seed and it kept growing everyday. Then one day I looked at the seed and found a hair like structure was also growing in the form of root even under the soil and in few days a web of roots was formed inside the soil. Now a small bud came out. As the plant grew, its stem became thick and dark in colour. Many branches of the plant came out from the stem. Now flowers came on the plant and butterflies, bees, bumblebees etc. started coming and sitting on those flowers. These insects do the work of pollination. As soon as the work of pollination took place the flower transform into fruit and seeds that we use for eating. A seed came out inside the fruit that when buried into ground the same process starts again.

How does the root system develop?
Answer :
After the germination of the seed a tiny white structure moves down wards making its way through the soil particles. At the same time many similar structures emerge from its side, absorb water, air and nutrients among the soil particles and grow rapidly and turn into web-like structure inside the ground. This is how the root system develop.

How does the sprouting system develop?
Answer :
The stem, branches and leaves present in the upper part of the plant are called sprouting system. A small bud comes out of the seed and grows upwards. After getting nutrients from pulses it comes out of the ground into the sunlight. Now leaves come out from that bud which turn green after getting sunlight. The stem becomes thick and dark in colour. Then many branches and leaves come out on that stem. In this way the sprouting system develops.
