Solution :
Number formed by using the digits 9, 4, 7 and 3 which is greater than 6500 and smaller than 7400 = 7349 and 7394
∴ The digit in the ones place of the number can be 9 or 4.

Question 20.
I am a four-digit number. My ones and thousands digits are the same, and my tens and hundreds digits are double my thousands digit. Who am I?
Solution :
Ones digit = Thousands digit
Tens and Hundreds digit
= 2 × thousands digit
Let ones digit = thousands digit = 1
∴ Number = 1221
Let ones digit = thousands digit = 2
∴ Number = 2442
Similarly, other numbers
= 3663 and 4884
