Answer:
North plain in south of Himalaya is a fertile region of Ganga, Satluj and Brahmputra river. Because of flat and mineralized soil rice, wheat, sugarcane and vegetables are grown. Patna, Delhi etc. large and densely populated cities makes it economically and socially important.

Which is more environment friendly, a traditional home or a modern home, and why? Write your opinion. 6
Answer:
Modem houses absorb temperature which increases heating and people use air conditioners to prevent from heating which causes electricity consumption which is harmful for environment. While traditional houses are made up of mud etc. so remain cold naturally and maintained balance between summer and winter and these houses does not needed air- conditioners. Therefore traditional houses are environment friendly.
