Understanding of the Shape and Space (Marks : 21)

Question 1.
When the ladder is placed along the wall then the angle formed between the wall and ladder is : 1
(A) Right angle
(B) Acute angle
(C) Obtuse angle
(D) Straight angle

Question 2.
Given a grid of 1 cm × 1 cm squares. Draw a rectangle of length 5 cm and width 4 cm on this grid and find its perimeter and area? 3 + 3 = 6

Perimeter Rectangle = 2 × (Length + Width)

Answer:
Hint:
1. We add param mitra digit of 6 i.e. 4 to 3 and get 7.
2. We mark eknunen sigh below 4.
3. 4 means 3, again we add param mitra digit of 7 i.e. 3 to 3 and get 6.
4. We mark eknunen sigh in below 8 and 8 means 7
5. We Subtract 3 form 7 and get 4

Question 12.
(i) The monthly salary of Yogesh is Rs. 18600 then what is the total annual income of Yogesh? (3 × 2 = 6)
Answer:
Yogesh monthly salary = ₹ 18600
Total salary for one year (12 months) = 18600 × 12

(ii) Nisha has 456 apples, then find how many dozens of apple does Nisha have?
Answer:
one dozen = 12

= 456 ÷ 12 = 38
