## Rajasthan Board RBSE Class 5 Maths Chapter 4 Vedic Mathematics Ex 4.1

**Subtract**

(Subtract with the help of Ekanyunena purvena and param mitra digit sutra)

Solution:

**Directions –**

(i) We can not subtract 4 from 2 so add param mitra digit of 4 which is 6 in 2. Result of sum = 6 + 2 = 8

Write below in answer.

(ii) Put Ekanyun(RBSESolutions.com)mark on 8 which is purvena digit, of 2. i.e. [latex]\underset { \cdot }{ 8 } [/latex]

(iii) [latex ]\underset { . }{ 8 } =\underset { }{ 7 }[/latex], subtract 5 from 7 (7 – 5) = 2 and write below in anwer.

**Directions –**

(i) 8 can not be subtracted from 6. So add param mitra digit of 8 which is 2 in 6 and write the sum = 8 below in answer.

(ii) Put Ekanyun mark on 6 which is purvena(RBSESolutions.com)digit of [latex]\underset { }{ 6- } \underset { . }{ 6 } [/latex]

(iii) [latex]\underset { . }{ 6= } \underset { }{ 5 } [/latex] = 5, subtract 4 from 5 (5 – 4) = 1 and write below in answer

**Directions –**

(i) 9 can not be subtracted from 4 so add param mitra digit of 9 which is 1 in 4 and write the sum = 5 below in answer.

(ii) Put Ekanyun mark on 7 which is purvena digit of 4 – 7

(iii) [latex]\underset { \bullet }{ 7 } =6[/latex] = 6, subtract 6 from 6 (6 – 6) = 0 and write below in answer.

**Directions –**

(i) 3 can not be subtracted from 2 so add param mitra digit of 3 which is 7 in 2 and write the sum = 9 below in answer.

(ii) Put Ekanyun mark on 4 which is purvena digit of [latex]2-\underset { . }{ 2 } [/latex]

(iii) [latex]\underset { . }{ 4 } =3[/latex]

4 is not subtracted from 3 so add(RBSESolutions.com)param mitra digit of 4 which is 6 in 3 and write the sum = 9 below in answer.

(iv) Put Ekanyun mark on 3 which is purvena digit of [latex]\underset { \cdot }{ 4 } [/latex] – [latex]\underset { \cdot }{ 3 } [/latex].

(v) [latex]\underset { . }{ 3 } =2[/latex] subtract 2 from 2 (2 – 2) = 0 and write below in answer.

**Directions –**

(i) 7 can not be subtracted from 4 so add param mitra digit of 7 which is 3 in 4 and wirte the sum = 7 below in answer.

(ii) Put Ekanyun mark on 2 which is purvena digit of [latex]4-\underset { . }{ 2 } [/latex]

(iii) [latex]\underset { \bullet }{ 2 } =1[/latex]

6 can not be subtracted from 1 so add(RBSESolutions.com)param mitra digit of 6 which is 4 in 1 and write the sum = 5 below in answer.

(iv) Put Ekanyun mark on 5 which is purvena digit of [latex ]\underset { . }{ 2 } =\underset { . }{ 5 }[/latex]

(v) [latex]\underset { \bullet }{ 5 } =4-2=2[/latex] and write below in answer.

**Directions –**

(i) 6 can not be subtracted from 5 so add param mitra digit of 6 which is 4 in 5 and write the sum = 9 below in answer.

(iii) [latex]\underset { \bullet }{ 4 } =3[/latex]

7 can not be subtracted from 3 so add param mitra digit of 7 which is 3 in 3 and write the sum = 6 below in answer.

(iv) Put Ekanyun mark on 9 which is purvena digit of [latex]\underset { \bullet }{ 4 } -\underset { \bullet }{ 9 } [/latex]

(v) [latex]\underset { \bullet }{ 9 } =8-8=0[/latex] and write below in answer.

**Directions –**

(i) 6 can not be subtracted from 2 so add param mitra digit of 6 which is 4 in 2 and write the sum = 6 below in answer.

(ii) Put Ekanyun mark on 6 which is purvena digit of [latex]2-\underset { . }{ 6 } [/latex]

Subtract 3 from 5 and write (5 – 3) = 2 below in answer.

(v) Put Ekanyun mark on 4 which is purvena digit of [latex]1-\underset { \bullet }{ 4 } [/latex]

(vi) [latex]\underset { \bullet }{ 4 } =3[/latex]

Subtract 2 from 3 and write (3 – 2) = 1 below in answer.

(i) 7 can not be subtracted from 4 so add param mitra digit of 7 which is 3 in 4 and write the sum = 7 below in answer.

(iii) [latex]\underset { \bullet }{ 6 } =5,9[/latex] can not be subtracted from 5 so add param mitra digit of 9 which is 1 in 5 and write the sum = 6 below in answer.

(iv) Put Ekanyun mark on 2 which is purvena digit of [latex]\underset { \bullet }{ 6 } -\underset { \bullet }{ 2 } [/latex]

(v) [latex]\underset { \bullet }{ 2 } =1,8[/latex] can not be subtracted from 1 so add param mitra digit of 8 which is 2 in one and write the sum = 3 below in answer.

(vi) Put Ekanyun mark on 7 which is purvena digit(RBSESolutions.com)of [latex]\underset { \bullet }{ 2 } -\underset { \bullet }{ 7 } [/latex]

(vii) [latex]\underset { \bullet }{ 7 } =6[/latex], Subtract 3 from 6 and write (6 – 3) = 3 below in answer.

(vii) [latex]\underset { \bullet }{ 1 } =0[/latex]

Subtract 0 from 0 and write (0 – 0) = 0 below in answer.
