(i) Number of students obtained less than or equal to 6 marks = 5 + 4 + 1 = 10

(ii) Number of students obtained more than 6 marks = 5 + 6 + 3 + 1 = 15

(iii) If cost of one envelop is 5, then cost of envelops sold on Monday = 7 × 5 × 5 = ₹ 175

(iv) (7 + 4 + 5 + 6 + 3 + 2) = 27 × 5 = 135 envelops were sold during the week and their cost = 135 × 5 = ₹ 675

Question 6.

The following pictograph shows the (RBSESolutions.com) number of students who like to play different sports in a class of 30 students

(i) How many students play kho – kho?

(ii) Which sport is played by maximum number of students?

(iii) How many students play none of the sports?

Solution:

(i) 8 students (RBSESolutions.com) play kho – kho.

(ii) Cricket is played by maximum number of students.

(ii) Students who play none of the sports

= 30 – (6 + 8 + 5 + 11) = 30 – 30 = 0
