Question 1.

Subtract by the formula of eknunen (RBSESolutions.com) poorven & “Param mitra ank”.

Solution.

Subtraction with the help of eknunen poorven and “parammitraank” –

**Hint :**

(a) 7 cannot be subtracted from 5. Therefore, we add the (RBSESolutions.com) complementary digit of 7, the digit 3 to 5, 5 + 3 = 8, write below the sum.

(b) Put a sign of less than on the poorven digit of 5 i.e., 7, such as 7 =6.

(c) Subtract 2 from 7 (6 – 2 = 4) and write remainder 4 below.

**Hint:**

(a) 6 cannot be subtracted from 4. Therefore, we add (RBSESolutions.com) complementary digit of 6 i.e., 4 to 4. 4 + 4 = 8, write below the sum.

(b) Put a sign of less than on the poorven digit of 4 i.e., 8, such as 8 = 7.

(c) Subtract 5 from 8 (7 – 5 = 2) and write remainder 2 below.

**Hint:**

(a) 6 cannot be subtracted from Therefore, we add complementary digit of 6 i.e., 4 to 5, 5 + 4 = a, write below the sum.

(b) Put a sign of less than on the poorven digit of 5 i.e., 3, such as 3 = 2.

(e) 5 cannot be subtracted from 4 = 3, therefore we add complementary digit of 5 i.e., 5 to 3, 3 + 5 = 8, write the sum below.

(g) We cannot subtract 6 from 3 = 2, therefore we add complementary digit of 6 i.e., 4 to 2, 4 + 2 = 6, write the sum below.

(i) 1 = 0, write below.
